【Intended Application】
The test strip is used for detecting Chloramphenicol in tissue (Meat).
【Principle】
The kit is a competitive colloidal gold immunoassay method. Sample is added to sample hole, if there is Chloramphenicol in samples, it will combine with marked antibodies, preventing the marked antibodies from combining the Chloramphenicol antigens of NC nitrocellulose membrane.
If CAP contents in sample solution are greater than detection limit, the test line will not display color reaction (or color is shallower than the control line color), the result is positive; If CAP contents in sample solution are less than detection limit, the test line will display purple (or color is the same as the test line color), the result is negative.

【Materials required But Not Supplied】
Equipments: mixer or stomacher, nitrogen-drying device, oscillator, centrifuge, measuring pipets, and balance with a reciprocal sensibility of 0.01g
Micropipettes: single-channel 20 to 200µl and 100 to1000µl
Reagents: ethyl acetate.
【Sample Pre-treatment】
Instructions
Lab gown must be clean and use disposable pipette to avoid contamination that interfere results.
Sample pretreatment step:
1. Tissue:
Firstly cut the scarfskin and fat of fish, shrimp, crab, meat (livestock, poultry) and viscera.
2) Weight 0.5g crushed homogeneous tissue samples and put into a 15ml centrifuge tube.
Add 2ml deionized water and 2ml ethyl acetate into the centrifuge tube, shake well for 5min, and centrifuge at 4000 r/min for 2 min.
Take 1ml supernatant into a glass tube, dry the liquid, and then add 0.5ml Sample dissolving solution to dissolve the solid, mix fully for the assay.
Dilution times: 2 detection Limits: 0.2ppb
【Test Methods】
Tear test card foil pouch, remove the test card, put on a flat, clean work surface
Use straw draw the ready sample, slowly and dropwise add 2-3 drop (about 60ul) sample into the sample hole“S”.
Please determine the result within 5-8min, other 10min only as a referenced result.
【Results Judgment】
Negative Positive Invaild
Negative(-): control line(C) display red, test line(T) color is deeper than the control line or the same as, the result will shows that CAP concentration is less than detection Limits or no.
Positive(+): control line(C) display red, test line(T) color is shallower than the control line or no color, the result will shows that CAP concentration is higher than detection Limits .
Invalid: control line (C) don’t display, it means the operational process is incorrect or this test card has lost efficacy.
